The Merkur Arena is located in the south of Graz in the district of Liebenau. One can commute either using the public transportation system or a car.
PRESS ENTRANCE & STANDS
The press entrance is located under the stairs of the stands on the north side of the stadium by sector 9. That is where the press credentials will be deposited as well. The press seats are located in the middle of the eastern stands with an excellent view over the pitch. Radio broadcasting cabins are there as well.
By public transportation
With the Holding Line 4 you will be dropped off directly at the plaza in front of the Merkur Arena at the tram stop “Stadion Liebenau”.
Take the exit “Graz Ost” on the A2 which leads straight to the stadium. If you are coming from the city center you have to take the “Conrad-von-Hötzendorf-Strasse” and the “Münzgrabenstraße”. If coming from the south you can take the “Liebenauer Hauptstrasse” straight to the stadium.
There are numerous parking spots available in the streets around the stadium. Please consider that those spots are in the so-called “Blue Zone” which means they are of charge from Monday to Friday from 9:00AM to 8:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 1:00PM with the maximum parking duration of 3 hours. As well there is the so-called “Green Zone” which operates Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 8:00PM which is also of charge. Additionally there is the possibility to park in the parking garage underneath the stadium (on game day €8-) and the A2Z parking garage as well which is located by the “Liebenauer Tangente” (on game day €8-). We hope you can understand that we are unable to provide free parking.
